My P-220 in the Mephisto has around 25 hours, I had a starter motor issue in the first hour so I changed it to an improved version ( mine was from the first batch) no issues expected with normal service intervals. I have customers in the 20 hour range too.
The only thing that seems to kill the starter is a sticking turbine, without the ‘kick’ of the starter motor hitting the spinner nut the magnet energising alone will over amp the starting system if you don’t pick up on it. I have the on board Mini GSU so I spool the turbine manually after any lengthly storage to be sure the rotor turns before trying a start.

geez Dave i feel like a caveman i have a wooden dowel with a piece of piano wire fastened to the end so i can shove it up the tailpipe to knock the compressor wheel free lol
