I used exactly what Sig suggested and I think that it was right at the main spar (front). Check me on that. With my light Thunder Tiger GP .42, I had to add lead to the nose to bring it into balance. For me my Kadet was what I learned how to fly RC on. Mine is a 3 channel, (elevator, rudder, engine), and as far as I'm concerned I think it flies just fine with that location. I would suggest starting at the recommended location and then go from there. But you're an experienced flier, you might want to move it back a bit.
