No, giles's dont 3D (that well), they're for IMAC sequences. Now ask the same question about an edge!
Hmmm, I've been 3D'n my Giles the whole season I had it. It was easy to 3D. Harriers, the best elevators I have ever seen, as they almost dropped straight down with no forward airspeed. It torque rolled fine, waterfalls, blenders, high alpha knife edge, etc. And being a little smaller and lighter than the Extras, Edges, and Caps, with the DA-150 it had excellent unlimited verticals. By the way, that video mentioned is the one from my website. Its my Carden 40% Giles 300, not the 202. I don't think the video shows it doing much 3D, I don't remember exactly. I don know there is a blender in there, some tumbles, etc. Note the vertical on take off though, it really was ballistic on vertical. I do have other video of it 3D'n, and I'll dig it out sometime in the near future and put a link up to it on my Giles page.
I currently have 2 Carden 40% Extra 330's, have extensively flown the Cap's, Edges, and Extra's, and put a number of flights on other giant aerobatic planes. Of them all, I really miss the Giles 300 the most. It had the best hot rod feel to it. Not a luxury sports car, SUV, or mini-van, but an outright muscle car.
