If your outer race is too small, it can spin in the crankcase and wear out your irreplaceable crankcase. Measure your bearings with precision instruments before ordering aftermarket bearings.
Thanks for your reply. Yes, i did notice the sizes were a little 'different'. I used my digital micrometer to get my measurements.
Ive several 'donor' engines that i measured prior to ordering & noticed the Novarossi bearings were very much the odd size out. Most other bearings i had were actually 24mm OD. But after an hour in the freezer, the replacement bearing dropped straight it.
