actually I can get another 8511 from the german dealer who I bought the first one a couple of months ago ( Modellbau Hillenbrand )
it will cost some 100 bucks, but I really need this old type of JR servo to match Tom`s precise geometry on that massive PCU alu frame and also to match his custom linkage parts
@ George: P220 - well now that sounds like some real fun - the airframe can accept that power, for sure !
And, 24 hours after the first power up, everything is working just perfectly now ( except the 8511 of course )
Exchanged the two doors feeding connectors ( closed vs open ) and luckily, found my leak - it was in one of the DuBro 1/8" quick connectors that I fitted to the gear lines in order to take out the gears if necessary
You see them in the pics of previuos posts. I just pushed in one line a tad too little !! Shame on me !
