MT-Propeller, a natural composite propeller manufacturer, has received an FAA STC for the installation of a 3-blade hydraulically actuated constant speed propeller on Diamond DA42 twin engine aircraft.
The new propeller provides the DA42 with an enhanced ground roll and takeoff distance, as well as improved climb performance and smoother cruising.
The MT-Propeller can be installed on Diamond DA42, DA 42M, DA 42-NG, and DA 42 M-NG aircraft that use Technify Motors GmbH TAE 125-01, TAE 125-02-99, and TAE 125-02-144 engines or Austro Engine GmbH 4E-B.
Advantages of the new propeller installation include vibration damping characteristics, no engine modifications, reduced ground roll and takeoff distance, improved climb performance by 10%, and more speed.
The 3-blade propeller has an unlimited life and is FOD repairable.
The propeller installation is also certified by the EASA and TCCA Canada.
