the gear operated perfectly on ground so i did not check to lubricate. that might actually be the solution. we tried slower takeoff and applying brakes. the wheels are very large and have some momentum. Andreas plane has no issues so maybe i need to grease mine.
Greg Alderman happened to be at the event and changed the setting for me.
