Depends on your project. I've used both successfully. For smaller to midsize aircraft (up to approx. 35lbs) the AG63 is fine. For larger aircraft ( above 40lbs) the LGC 15 is the way to go. This is mostly for the ability to set (increase) the resistance amperage for the heavier retracts. This will allow the gear to complete full retraction against the weight and wind resistance (including gear doors) after takeoff.
Agree with all the above. The problem I had with LGC-15 was there is no way to have different voltages for retracts and brakes. When JP retract motors are limited to 2S and you need 3S for JP brakes you have to use a different brake controller since LGC-15 is limited to just one voltage input.
