I have a small steerable tail wheel on mine. I think whether you go with it depends on how much taxiing you intend to do, and how precisely you need to taxi.
it made it to my house ok but was pact very poorly. I am amazed there was no damage. if you want all out 3d you are going to need to balance this plane very near or at it's max rear limits. if you are after all-out 3d performance, disregard the CG recommendations of the guy who did the review in the rc universe review. if you use screws to hold the canopy, reinforce the holes or the canopy will begin to crack from vibration.
