20 years ago i was competent with nitro. even used to tune cars for a few friends.
after i rebuilt the RS4 a few years ago i ran it from time to time. im rusty but i can run it with no issues. it all comes back to you. not quite like riding a bike, but close. i also have an RC10GT a neighbor gave me before he moved that i took apart, cleaned, and rebuilt, but iv yet to run it. i think it needs servos and i need to change the battery in the starter box so i can start it. had to put it up for a while to work on other projects.
i like nitro because of the involvement it requires but its gotten a little difficult to run around me. everybody's uptight and high strung these days and they don't like the noise and won't hesitate to let you now about it. and even the park we used to run at seems to have people there all the time now.

and yeah i run the OG RC10 all the time. it's got a 17.5 Reedy motor and castle sidewinder esc. thing runs great! does need new foams in the tires though
