Smile F5J & GPS Triangle flying in South Australia

Southern Soaring League, South Australia would like to invite you to join us at an F5J Open International, GPS Triangle and Scale Aerotow week to help celebrate our clubs 50th Anniversary which will be held in Milang South Australia from Saturday 11th March until Sunday 19th March

* F5J Open International March 11 – 13

* Scale Aerotow and GPS Triangle Racing March 14 – 19

* Meet and fly with Phillip Kolb, a world-class pilot. Phillip will be giving talks throughout the event.

Starting the celebration will be the F5J Open International competition, followed by a week of GPS and scale glider flying.

SSL Sky Park is less than 1 hour south from Adelaide International Airport. Direct international flights are available to Adelaide with Singapore Airlines, QATAR Airways, Air New Zealand, Malaysia Airlines and Fiji Airways. If you enter via Sydney or Melbourne there are many more options available to you. Club members have offered to help any overseas pilots with airport pick-ups of people and models. This will make it easy for overseas pilots to get to the field with only the need to hire a small car. Models can be stored at members houses for longer periods if you would like to holiday before or after the event. We are here to help and to encourage as many overseas pilots as possible to help us celebrate our great model glider club and fly in some very special Australian conditions.
