Default My love of the 231ex arf

I had a GP 231ex ARF after my tours of Vietnam, with a Saito 91 in the nose. Plenty of power... Programed in differential ailerons / with some flap deflection included (as necessary) on both ailerons.... Could switch on/off either, thus it could be a hornet to fly, or cub like.... Hooked some tall grass off the edge of our field NOT PAYING ATTENTION, thus rebuilding was needed. Took the pieces, made templates of everything (parts). Have one new/reconstruction 231ex waiting for good weather here in the north... Starting an other as winter is here.. can't have only one to fly....Here's a thought..... Maybe a cottage industry...haha, Also bought a foam wing cutting system from Tekoa Engineering.. I may never fly anything but the 231EX. Can smash on on SUNDAY, HAVE ABOTHER READY FOR NEXT WEEKEND.....HOORAH
