I did ended up using one on mine. You will not have much control on a paved runway. Specially not when the wind is blowing.
I would cut the wingtips off too. Increases the roll rate and helps to lock into the Knife Edge better. Didn't do it on mine, but would have if I wouldn't have sold it.
