NTC3 Team kit, my opinions so far...
so 2 days ago i got a rear exsaust non pull start team kit.
i have not finished putting it all together yet but i have it about half way at this time.
seems to be a decently thought out kit so far. the shaft drive fits tighter then any shaft drive / dogbone system i have seen yet. there is no slop or play in it at all. so i assume this car will be very responsive off the line.
my biggest complaint so far is that i did not buy a new screw kit to replace the crap screws that came with it. i have stripped out the hexs in at least 5 screws, luckily i had many extras from other kits laying around that fit the same.
i think that they should sends out screws with the larger hex opening and not the small (5/16 i think?? of the top of my head) one.
i have one screw that is all the way in but stripped on the last turn so now if i ever need to replace that part it holds, what a pain that will be.
so my 1st MUST HAVE if you ever get an NTC3 kit is an after market screw kit.
hopefully i will finish the car next week and get some final opinions on it as well.
