Nice job on the air intake mods, and the scoop looks great. If you are looking for an actual performance gain though, check out an 1/8 scale dual stage buggy filter. They have a higher flow volume, and basically a 360degree intake, as opposed to the front face intake like the stock filter. The Thunder Tiger/AE filters are the best cause of the foam they use, but any 1/8 scale dual stage, Crono, Ofna, RB, are all excellent.
