I also cut a hatch in the top rear fuse sheeting and secured a 1300 mAh rx battery back there. I didn't bother fitting a hatchlid; I covered the hole with clear tape for the first few flights. Once done tweaking the CG I discarded the tape, replaced it with white Ultracote.
Wups!that won't look so hot on the .60 bird if the covering on the fuse is transparent.
