Default Cooking FET

After changing stock motor,in my Aero Hawk to an Acro-280BB 6v, and my tail motor to the GWS EDP50XC, I cooked the main motor FET. I replaced it with the 7456 FET. After approx. 3 min. hovering the tail became very unstable. a few moments later the main motor stopped and the main motor FET fell off, very hot. What am I doing wrong?

If I go separates, what components should I be looking at to replace the board? I do not have revo mixing on my transmitter, it's a GWS GWT-4A transmitter, the one that came with the Aero Hawk.
