You can turn the airplane upside down to start the engine-hard to do without a cradle. DuBro makes a remote headlock setup you can mount behind the wing on top of the fuselage if you wish. I use an onboard starter on an inverted motor 25% for reliable idle(peace of mind is worth something) and 75% to eliminate the aggravation of old knee problems. It's one more battery to charge but well worth it...JIM
