Here's an off-the-wall question that does not require an immediate answer, but I would like hard data if you can get it... no guessing, please!
For the US 72 MHz market, how does Horizon/JR determine what percentage of total production is allotted to each of the 46 available channels?
- Is this decision a no-brainer... simply 2.17% of production to each channel?
- Or is it in
any way customer-driven?
If it is the latter, is it possible to get the numbers (percentages) allotted for say... the past year? And the reasoning behind the decisions, if available?
FWIW, this same set of questions is going to your counterpart at Futaba. I'm simply trying to get some understanding of the factors involved in channel distribution (or lack thereof) at the club level.
