Default RE: Hangar 9 150 Size P-51

Viper,

The Saito 180 is more than enough power for this plane. I fly mine with one, and I take off at 3/4 throttle and fly at 1/2 throttle. The sound is great. Mine is even heavier than stock since i put in a full depth cockpit and the heavy Blue Box pilot. At full power, there is a lot of vertical power for VERY big loops and other vertical maneuvers.

I use the Frank Tiano retracts . They work great, and I am using standard servos to operate them. It is sooo nice not having to worry about air leaks and bringing a pump. The mechanicals will cycle all day long with no worries.
