RE: 3DX!
Chris
I am using a e-tech 1200. New etechs are comming out so as of the 13 of feb the price for the current generation will hit its final price ( the new ones will be heavier, more expensive but able to handle much higher currents). Under $40 Aus for 2s pack from modelcopter ( I picked 3 more packs up on tuesday night for the new price). I have a new 2400 etech pack that I will try in the plane, this will bring the plane up to about 12 oz. If it works I will be able to have 3-4 flights on the one charged pack.
At the light weight it has more than enough thrust to hover and t'roll, enough acceleration to get out of trouble quick and will do waterfalls and blenders very nicely.
I cant seem to PM you. The charger diagram and part no's are located at [link=http://www.shdesigns.org]sh designs[/link] in the rc planes section

This picture was taken from a video 8mins into the flight. (its not a 3DX but uses the same power system and weighs under 10oz and has the same wing area)
