RE: XP642 BROKEN THROTTLE STICK
There seems to have been a problem with the gimbals (sticks) on the old 642. I have known 4 different folks who sent these radios in and got new gimbals for FREE. This even though the radio is way out of warranty. The last one I know of was fixed just last November. JR seems to stand behind its radios, gimbals, and the 642. That is a big reason I fly JR!!! Send it in to Horizon and they will take care of you.
