The official word is you may or may not see the DA-75 in the future! If and when there are a quantity made, DA will announce it and start shipping immediately!!! Our friends at DA have their hands full at the moment trying to keep up with the demand of their current line. This is an extremely small company and they above all, know that there is a demand for a 75-80cc motor with their logo.
They announced the DA-50 and immediately had a waiting list! Then a company that made reed valves no longer made them so they had to find another source(long story!). Other problems crept up on them(bolts) and before you know it, people were moaning about the delay. They do not want this scene again. A company with a wonderful reputation does not want or need these complications.
With the emergence of more 25-28% planes each day, the 50cc is here to stay. As soon as my YAK-54 hits the door I/m getting my second DA-50.
