I have an O.S. .26 Surpass on the nose and the battery under the turtledeck. The cowl just fits and is actually about 5/16" shy of the backplate. Many days I fly without the cowl. I attached the turtledeck with screws to access the battery for CG adjustments. Weight of the reinforced cowl does affect balance on such a small plane. She's a only slightly heavy by the box, and the tick-tick makes it O.K. I wouldn't call it overpowered, just well-powered
