RE: Best parkflyer w/ floats?
well im in the middle of makeing a set of floats for my parkflyer, i dont know why, there are no ponds around... ei.. it might come in useful sometime.....
anyway the floats are best to be the full length of the fusalage and thinner at the back then at the front, thats so the front is always out of the water because if it catches the water then it would be all over.
you can atatch them to you plane by thin pvc or strong wire, attatched with screws or in my situation a full surface that is rubber-banded to the plane, or at least thats the plan i still have to cover the floats,
i carved them both out of polystyrene foam would they be ok without covering?
a bunch of gws planes would be ok, the hobby lobby wingo does well with floats apparantly but still, most planes would work, you could try to make flats that clip on to the origional landing gear.
