RE: RCJI Misprint Correction
A lot of your 1980's pattern ships had anhedral stabs. I had a plane called a Curare that knife edged very well with anhedral stabs.

I am really enjoying the Facet 2300.
Just got back from putting 2 more flights on it (would have been more, but my fueling pump battery died). First flight of the day, I had my very first flame out. I was at about 1/3 throttle headed away from the runway several hundred feet off the end of the runway and only about 100' altitude. When I heard it quit, I just knew this was going to end bad. I had to make a 180 deg turn to get back towards the runway, and then a 90 to turn to final. I didn't think there was any way I would make the runway. When I realized I was going to make the runway still carrying quite a bit of speed, I dropped the flaps (what little wind we had was in my face, 90 deg cross to the runway). It touched down right in front of me and rolled about 30' to a stop. Everyone there was pretty impressed and congratulated me on my save. I told them that it was the Facet's fault it turned out well.
I guess I didn't purge the air out of UAT well enough. I refueled it and ran it on the ground for while holding the plane at different angles and shaking it. I shut it down and topped off the tanks again and flew it with no problems. I gotta go stock up on Kero for the summer!!!
