Default RE: EQUIVALENT MOTOR

I also have the Himax 2025-4200. Mine's in a GWS Formosa swinging a 12x8 prop with a kokam 2s 1500 pack and C gearing. The power increase from the gws 350c is amazing when you consider that you're pulling about the same current. I ordered a kokam 3s 2000 pack which should be comparable to your 10 cell pack. Motocalc says about 23 oz thrust with a 10x7 prop should fly my formosa at about 44 mph and draw about 12.5 amps static. I'm quite pleased with this motor. My setup only weighs about 16 oz though. It should be able to hover at about 2/3 throttle (if my skills permit).
