Default RE: great idea for fake nos tanks

I've seen the C02 tanks done like that and yes, it looks pretty cool and convincing.. What are you using for the braided line?

homebrewer, people come here to learn about improving the looks of their cars. This forum is about detailing, not tweaking. If a guy wants to make a MODEL of a NOS tank, then this is the place to talk about it. I agree with your view on "ricers", I can't stand em. I hate the sound they make and I don't like the culture involved in it..

But, in all honesty.......... How does a "ricer" differ from a guy back in the 50's building a hot rod? or a guy in the 80's building a muscle car? It really doesn't if you think about it. The adults of the day thought each trend was quite stupid and rediculous to look at. It a kid thang man, get over it..

Oh and I beg to differ on the backwards hat comment.. I've worn a backwards hat since LONG before most people on this board were even born.. I wore mine out of necessity, not style, but nowadays I do it out of habit.
