Default RE: WHy do you sail boats?

kotori,
I have several reasons for building 'boats'. I like building them, for one. I used to 'do' the model airplane thingy, but unfortunately, couldn't fly them (love aviation and am a pilot). Flying the 'full sized' planes makes flying the 'small' ones a problem at times, everything is 'backwards' when they are coming toward you! Just tired of fixing my own 'goofs'.
Model boats are 'easier'. Sinking a boat isn't quite as easy as crashing a plane. It's certainly possible though (don't ask!).
My reaction time isn't exactly what it used to be either. 'Water' things usually happen slower than 'air' things, so I can handle it. I'm not 'old', I just have a 'slightly used' body!
