RE: TN Floatfly KCRC
Duh, Northstar. I remembered Fast and Slow but I forgot what was in the middle, although you were doing some really cool landings with the Northstar at about a 40-degree angle of attack. And I had a mental block about the name of the Quaker, although I knew it the instant I saw it at the lake.
The KCRC Fly-in was an excellent fly-in and I will make every effort to attend whenever possible. Next-time they are going for a Sanction, and that should get some attendance out. I have gone to the last 4 KCRC fly-ins even when I had to drive 600 miles each way from Tampa. Last Sept, I showed up in the rain date, and missed the fly-in, but I went. I just hope to find out about any other float-ins in Tennessee/Kentucky.North AL, NorthGA, so I can go play there. I don't care if I ever fly off wheels again. I like to fly floats.
