I always thought it was acrylic, but I could be wrong.

It is a 2 part paint/catalyst plus thinner to suit.

Its really easy stuff to use, has a 95% gloss without clear, but it is pretty nasty toxicity wise so you need to wear good respirators and gloves etc.

You can rub acetone on it all day and it doesnt do anything to it, if you have painted it on thick it can be real fun to remove if you need to repaint something
