I think that might be a little typo there and by now you may have already noticed it. Two-strokes adjust the same way 4-strokes do. Which way you turn the idle needle depends on the type of carb the manufacturer uses on a particular engine. Air bleed carbs work the way you described in your "P.S.", regardless of the type of engine. The Saito .30 4-stroke works that way also and is opposite from the other Saito 4-strokes. The Saito .30 4-stroke has an air bleed carb.
