I want to upgrade the motor, need more speed, could you guys recommend a good motor, dont want to spend too much though, and also what other bits will i need to get. ie speed controller, will this have to be changed. below is a link to the boat and the spec. cheers guys

For a moment I thought that nitroarcher was referring to the "Reef skimmer" in the ripmax product line. I've got one of those boats. They were sold here 2 yrs. ago by Radio Shack under the same name.
