we have mods producing over 5.5 hp in the g230 gen 4 version of the motor.
there is a few good motor builders out there, be carefull stay with a reputable builder as I have seen motors that claim to be mods that make no power diff over a stock 230. the gen 4 g230 makes 3.2 hp out of the box, your buggie should stand on tail and go to 50 without a issue with a g230gen4.
gen 3 would be quick but be more like 2.5 hp
