Funnest $99 you can spend!
Don't over power it, keep it light up front. Move everything aft as far as possible, they ALWAYS build nose heavy. There have been reports of verticals breaking off, but this might have been some early model problems with a little e-forum hysteria mixed in. I have had 2 Magic's and have twisted them up pretty tight without snapping a vertical. Broke a fues in flight! But that's another story. See my gallery. Suggest soaking every piece of bare wood you can reach inside of the fues with thin CA. Don't worry about the firewall. Bend up and braze together a new set of gear and take it to the field, so you can replace it when the original breaks. Don't replace the broken gear with generic, short, aluminum strap gear. That's so "un-Magic". Keep the rubber bands, "bolt-ons" are for flat chested women. Have Fun!
