Default dirt naps and effect on servos

I built a spad gnat with 15xl for ssc hoping to stir interest in our club, it's a kick to fly I can do things I would never do with a balsa plane. My question is,with the servos hanging in the breeze, all get covered with oil and goo& when I land or take a dirt nap as I did today( inverted over runway up is down / wait oops OOOH NO MR. BILL ) the servos attract that dirt like a magnet. any how my questions are 1 how long can I expect my servos to last ,2 what can I do to protect/extend life of same( I know don't crash&don't land ha ha ) thanks cal.45acp
