RE: Dave Patrick super cub
I talked to Greame Mears himself when I ordered the Cub. I couldn't belive I was talking to "Mr Cub" himself. I was going to go with white but then wanted to be traditonal and ordered the yellow. I went with the Magnum 160 twin because rumor has it that it has a bit more snot. The carb is bigger on the Magnum. I've had good success with this engine in the past. I had it in a T-craft I sold and so I needed to buy another one. I went with JR 537's on the flaps and alerons. Shouldn't be a problem since the control surface is small and I'm running six volts. For the elevator and rudder, I went JR 4721's (high torque) and a mini high torque for the throttle. I also odered Dave's intrument panel and extension package. I'm using a 1/4 scale civilian full body pilot from HP pilots. I don't have it yet but they are getting more pilots in next week. Now all I have to worry about is the tank and spinner. Look forward to assembling it sometime next week. The plane was shipped yesterday.
