Default RE: Best Simulators

I have owned both G2 And AFP. IMO if you are just learning the basics any of those 2 will work for you. However if learning how to do a specific thing like 3D flying then AFP is the one for you. If you are just learning to fly than any of them will do control inputs are the most crucial in the beginning and can be taught with either sim. If you eventually want to learn 3D then I would recomend going for AFP right from the get go. I had RF and tried to learn to hover and do some 3D on it even with the tweeked out downloaded planes. Except for learing control inputs in high alpha manuvers it taught me nothing !!!. I had to learn all over again with AFP. ITs that different, the reason is the physics in the 2 programs one is dedicated to react to your imputs as the plane has airspeed the other takes into consideration what the prop throws across the wings when the plane is not moving. That makes all the difference in the world when you are learning to 3D fly. They are both compatable with your own TX if you want and AFP is considerably less expensive no addons and all the planes are downloadable from the net FREE. The only downside to AFP its not so "Arcade like" no internet play the graphics are more for detail on the planes and their flight characteristics than the scenery around you. IMO Its a trainning simulator not a video game.
