RE: VECTORFLIGHT MODELS?
Fatboy, I thought you might be interested in the following email I received from VF today about the response I posted to your question:
Dear Vance:
I hope you are well. I couldn't help but notice your recent post at RC Universe about possibly losing your VF Edge. If so, I am very sorry to hear about it. We did communicate for some time while you were preparing your airplane.
Is there anything which we should know which could have prevented the mishap, such as a structural failure or otherwise. Is the airplane a total loss or if some parts can be salvaged, we will be happy to send you some replacement parts to get it to fly again. As always, please be assured that total customer satisfaction is our #1 priority.
Thanks for your time and feedback!
Very best regards,
John
VF
I don't know about anyone else, but I was suprised and impressed by this. It shows me that VF is committed to its products and customer satisfaction and is actually following the threads here on RCU. When was the last time someone crashed a plane and the manufacturer contacted you to see if there was anything they could do for you?
Sadly, I took this loss harder than any of the others I've suffered. This was an excellent model and the loss was enough to cause me to re-evaluate whether I want to stay in this hobby. If I decide to stay in it and my current financial situation improves enough to allow me to purchase another model, you can bet your sweet patooty that I will be buying another Edge from VF.
Just thought you'd like to know,
