It's like the old office saying: no one ever got fired for buying IBM. A Carden is prolly one of the best planes on the market. They are a lot of building but from what I have seen they are pretty straight forward in their build. I would get whatever one you are most comfortable spending, and building. The good news is even if you miss the deadline they will make more. You will just have to wait a while longer! Good luck with your choice.
