RE: New into drifting
I've been reading this Drifting forum for about a week and have seen the difference between the real way to set up your car...and the cheater way and I've decided I want to go try it this weekend if its dry. Now,I don't have any extra money at the moment to go buy cheaters,or hard compound slicks for the back to set it up right so I have to figure out something. The HPI X-pattern radials I have that came stock on the car are fairly hard and I bet I could use those and put the HPI Super Radials (sticky as hell) in the front and get some drifting out of it......Or,I work at a machine shop and we have this really hard rubber that can be put on a lathe, and I have a spare set of aluminum rims and could just make my own tires to fit em.I'd like to try the hard rubber stuff but it might be alot of work for nothing so,I'm not sure what to do yet.I'll let ya know what happens when I figure out what to try first.
