I would highly reccomend Hitec HS-475HB's. They are reasonably fast. Have 61 oz of torque at 4.8 volts. They are ball bearing tops. And have the new composite gears. They also can be ordered for less than 20$. Get some that fit your radio, I think you will be pleased.

And to answer your question the standards would do. But if you get the bigger ones you will have them for your next plane. You can find lots of uses for the higher torque servo's. You end up limiting yourself with standards. Good luck and welcome back.
