RE: Lightest servos for 6 oz plane?
I just picked up some Blue Arrow servos at the Neat fair. JGRC I believe. I asked about the Cirrus 4.4 and the high priced Cirrus 3.3 gram servos, as to the fact that they boast higher torque. He explained that the gears in all these small servos will strip at app 7 oz. of stress, so what good is a stronger servo. I'm putting them on a 6 oz. model and must agree that 5.5 oz. is sufficient. Working on the servo holes now, just hope they have enough throw. Joe
