I think the days of one place to stop for everything is over, competition and choice is whats makes the internet such a popular thing.
I think your wrong to some extent. How many questions are not getting answered at flightlines? What info is not available there. A lot of the people at all the other sites are there too. If everyone felt it was only a BS station, there would only be 1 forum.
As far as what the future brings who knows, all forums have promise when they start so we will see what happens. I do know that the more people you have in one place the signal to noise ratio goes up exponentially.
