Default Model Finish Question

I have a model which has been painted with car paints and then fuel
proofed with regular model fuel proofer. So far this has proved to work
fine and the model has been flying for about a year now with no
problems. However I have recently changed the fuel I use from coolpower
15 to coolpower 30 in preparation for a competition and now the
paint/fuel-proofer combo just isn't up to the job and the paint has gone
slightly tacky where the exhaust residue has got onto it and I don't
think it will last too long...

Does anyone have any ideas of a fuel-proofer that I could use that
would resist the coolpower 30 and be compatible with the car paints
underneath? I appreciate the ideal answer would be to re-paint using two
part epoxy paints or similar but that isn't really an option at the
moment. I'm not the only coolpower 30 user out there, so what do you
guys do?
