If it has one of the "universal" engine mounts that use clamps to hold the engine in place, it should be clamped evenly front & back & the engine should be lined up as close as possible to dead straight. If you can't get it dead straight, make sure that any motor misalignment is to the RIGHT, not left (looking forward from the tail).
