Servo setup for DP Ultimate?
If you can get a plane, they fly great. I've only done some simple circuits, but I had someone put it through its paces. Torque rolls, flat spins amazing. I din't have to trim anything and balance was perfect. Maybe even slightly tail heavy.
I used Futaba 9402 for rudder pull-pull and a 9402 on each half of elevator with carbon fibre rods. Pull-pull on elevator was not worth the trouble for me and I can't fly that precise anyhow. For each aileron and throttle I used Futaba minis - forgot the number as high torque isn't need. Saito 150 and 16oz tank. Being a new engine and running rich I have to set up for landing after 6 minutes.
As posted numerous times, the landing gear is way too soft unless you grease the landing. Even standing still, the gear flexes out quite a bit. I would get a better set and paint it. I am putting cross braces on mine now because of a dead stick landing came in a little hard, the gear flexed enough that the wheel pants hit the undside of the bottom wing and broke the sheeting. Nothing structural, but it still ticked me off.
I'm still taking it easy this year, but once comfortable with. I know it will perform. Problem is storing it and putting it in the van assembled. I have to take off the top wing, but that isn't too bad.
