Default RE: Pay it forward (Was freebie and fee engine)

Hi guys,

Just found this thread.. what a wonderful idea! I've been an R/c Addict since I was a little kid. For me it's been 99% spectating so far though, simply because I/my parents couldnt afford to drop $300+ on getting me started. I stuck with Rockets and my radio shack r/c cars. Now that I'm married and "on my own," I've been able to allocate some funds for my hobbies.. but I'm by no means rich Anyway, year before last my grandmother gave me some birthday money, and I went ahead and bought my dream trainer (TT Trainer 40). Over the next year I was able to get an engine and radio by selling some stuff and saving what I could.. then the unthinkable happend... I crashed.. well. I knew it would happen (it's inevitable) but in my case, could have easily been avoided (didnt charge Tx).. wont make that mistake again. Anyway.. I still have the radio and engine (see my post below), but I could really use a trainer to put it in... I dont care how ugly it is, as long as it flies. Or even an unbuilt one I could start working on... I hope this isnt a selfish request, but I really dont see myself purchasing a new plane for quite a while (just cant sacrifice the funds right now).. hmm... diapers or plane... lol. Oh the other thing I could use is a glow igniter... I had a dynamite one but it was lost at the field... still have the charger. If anyone is feeling generous.. e-mail me at [email protected] or reply here. I really appreciate it, this is a great idea.. and I hope I will be able to do the same for someone and "pay it forward" someday.

Thanks,

Reuben
