RE: Building: Cosmic Wind - 1 / 2.6 scale
Okey, have done some new things.
The engine was mounted, the spinner was mounted, made a neck-support (or what it's called in english), made a "thing" behind the cockpit, and so on. Pictures follows.
The engine was mounted on a home-made aluminium engine mount, and used rubber-mountings (From Saab exhaust-mountings i think) behind this. The engine mount was about 10mm to long so it was a gap between the front and the spinner. But it was filled with some 10mm balsa.
Picture 1: The rubber-mountings on the firewall.
Picture 2: The engine on the aluminium-mount.
Picture 3: The engine completely mounted, showing the gap between the spinner back-plate and the front of the fuselage.
Picture 4: With the spinner mounted. As you can see, the screw wich is going trough the spinner is too long, so we had to cut a little bit.
