I think they weigh about the same. I have the DP Edge 540, I started out with a Moki 2.10 then switched to a ZDZ 50 which I like a lot better. The Edge weighs 15 pounds dry with the ZDZ 50 and Sullivan Smoke. It weighed a little more with the Moki but still pretty close. The plane flys great though.
